I did a radiator coolant change about 12,000kms/6 months ago. Is it okay to just top up radiator coolant or should I do an exchange.

Coolant is good for like 100,000k's. Basically every major service.

Agreed just top-up and flush at major service.

i find that people that use cheap coolants and distilled waters end up having to top up alot or have problems with cracked hoses and overheating
i use OEM Honda Coolant and it lasts for a good couple of years or 100km service

you should top up with the same product if you decide to top it up. coolant does not mix to well.

whats the condition of the coolant?
if its all dirty, thick ect then it be a good idea to change it, if not then leave it.
btw never mix coolant

How come you cant mix coolant?

Because tthey have different ingredients, and mixing them can result in reactions that can increase corrosion

Different ingredients and antifreeze/water %
Just buy a 5L jug of honda coolant and be done with it, its not that expensive.

5L of honda coolant is 50bux. just grab that incase the day you'll need to top up, so you would remember which coolant to get

FYI, You can actually buy 1ltr bottles of Honda Type 2 coolant for $9 but only certain dealers stock it.

****ing honda faggots are the biggest ****ing douchbags ive ever seen.
Only honda owners are so ****ing "omg it must be oem"
If the other products on the market were so bad, they wouldnt be on sale.
Just go to any decent parts store, get a bottle of concentrated anti freeze/anti boil and mix it with water in about a 70%coolant to 30% water mixture.
If you get a 5l bottle you shouldnt need to use all of it, so just top it back up with water, and keep it in the car, and then use that to top whenever needed.
You should get 100k kms before you need to change it again

I changed my coolant at my 200k service. My last mechanic used some generic green coolant .At the 240k major recently Hannys in Smithfiled simply emptied my overflow tank and filled it back to full with some of their green premixed coolant on the shelf.
Radiator cap was opened and the coolant looked clean so they said no need to flush...

For people in the know its no problem at all using the green coolants.
For people that don't have a clue, they could be using the wrong green coolant. Some of the cheaper ones can't be used with alloy engines. It will corrode the shit out of the engine components.
