Ek and ej exhaust?

Is the 4 door ek essentially the same as ej/em1? reason i ask is that got defected, an i need to clear it asap, and there isnt many ej/em running around smashed up

Too loud? Considered just a resonator?

Otherwise I'll SMS a mate of mine with an EJ8 who lately got a 2" system. I'll see if he kept his stocko for defects or whatever.
