Re-installing door trim EK hatch

Hi guys
So i've searched mutilple threads on taking OFF doortrims on EK's/EM1's etc
And I did take mine off today to widen the speaker holes to fit in proper speakers
But I can't seem to get the doortrim back ON properly
The main problem lies in the window seal mold on the inside of the window (which is attached to the door trim itself).

I can get a snug fit on the right hand side (closest to the outside of the door).. but on the left hand side (near where the mirror is).. It wont for the life of it.. fit snug and straight..

Sort of looks like a diagonal line where the top part is snug but goes on to slip off the inside part

I've now stuffed the window seal trim trying to get it on about 100 times

Also, I can't seem to get the door handle surround back on properly.. theres like 2 little triangle hooks that go into the holes but i cant get them on and get the screw in at the same time >.<

So anyways, does anyone who's done this previously before have any tips on REINSTALLING door trims on EK hatch's?

i like to take off the plastic bit that covers the power mirrors and wind down the window. try to get the lhs in first and then if its in properly the rhs should just push down. ps if the lhs mould ripped off the tiny metal piece, just tape it back up tight, shouldnt have an dramas.

what tiny metal peice you talking about. I somewhat got it on but I still cant figure out how to get the door handle surround on without taking the door trim off first..
