Hey guys, Im installing an amp so decided to pass a power wire through the rubber grommet in the firewall. Done that, i just CANT get it back on. Theres a white disc behind the grommet which i think the lip of the grommet has to go around.
Heeelp!!

Yeah thats a bastard, i had same problem a while ago.
You will need to get at it from under the car, borderline impossible from the top.
Try a little bit of vaseline around the grommet too.

u need to pry the whole disc out but it would take a lot of effort to do, just that u don't want to break the plastic disc.

thank uu!!!
i didnt kno the white disc came out... it came out easily from on top... there are 4 tabs u press n pry with a screw driver, then i had space to put the lips of the grommet on.
omg biggest relief!!! tahnks!!!

question: theres already cables running along both sides of the car (under the panels next to th seats)... does anyone know what the cables are? Im not sure which side to run the power cables and which side to run the RCA+remote wire on

What do the existing cables look like? You should always run power down one side and the other cables down the other side. Doesn't really matter which side as long as they are separated.

I'll put my thanks here in advance too! I will be running some cables through probably next weekend. I tried to pull a little bit of the rubber grommet off, but couldn't even put it all back on properly, and didn't want to take it all off.
If you wouldn't mind putting some more info on how to run the wires through that would be tops. Like, did you peel the tape back or cut a hole through the grommet? did the cables go right through and down to the floor easily?
