Hey everyone,

Im in the market for an ep3 ctr as what im currently driving isn't very economical (200sx s15) anywayz my question is if i am to buy one from a dealer what should i be looking out for? Cos i've heard many stories of people buying imported vehicles and getting ripped off so if you guys can please shed some light and help me out it will be much appreciated..

Thanks :)

some useful info in here:
EP3 Type R Buying Guide (http://www.hondacivicforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=23125)

and here:

I did a similar swap, going from a 180sx to the EP3. I went to a dealer to look first, the chap I spoke to was pretty cool, young and like minded about cars. He pointed out all/most of the things to look out for. Then I hunted for the right one privately. Personally, I buy privately as long as you know what to look out for. The different in condition from the ones I looked at in the car yard and private was a big difference.

If you are thinking about buying from a dealer, your best bet will be IMG. Many EP3s on the forum came through them.

Wouldnt bother buying one, the market is flooded with them and they are now the honda version of a r33. Isnt that right fellow owners *wink wink nudge nudge
