Hey guys,

I'm planning to get a cold air intake for my 04 Honda Integra Type R. Have been researching and looking around and wondering if i could get some help. I'm getting mixed reviews about getting an air intake (something like a K&N) to a pod filter. What are the pros and cons and which one is betteR?

Also I figured that since with a cold air intake the air to fuel ratio would be better and hence increase fuel economy but once again when i did a bit of research, found out otherwise.

Please advise.

Thanks :honda:

I hate saying this to people man, but there's PLENTY of info about this topic on this website if you just search. For starters, look in the stickies in this sub-section.

As for off-the-shelf products, can't really go past an Injen Cold Air intake. Performs well, sounds great and looks good too. What more can you ask for? :)

Honestly, you guys need to search. I'd close this but I don't moderate here.

Check out this thread here (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?148532-help!-CAI-SRI-intake-and-Resonator-question) where we are currently discussing the same issue. I've decided to leave it open as IMO some members are contributing material that I consider to be relatively 'new' to the numerous past intake discussions.

You'll get all the answers you need there, otherwise use the search function please.
