hey guys
Need help i don't know what gear box this is. It has NSN3-########## on it.

Take a picture of it from the front/top, just left of your engine block.
And what car? Your EM1?
i took some pictures i hope this helps, i was told it was from a dc5 the closest i can find was from a dc5 type s NSN4

Id say it is a Type S one.. Non-LSD also..

My type s gearbox is the same NSN3 but instead of 4000##### mines 5000##### but that cause mines LSD I think

heyyy my DC5S gearbox reads NSN3 5000##### the same as owens14. I can confirm that it doesn't have an LSD because i put the car up on jacks and did the wheel spinning test. The DC5 Integra Type S were branded with an LSD. but an actual fact this is false.

FYI: the 'wheel spinning test' doesn't work for all types of LSD, if you tried to do the 'wheel spinning test' on a DC2R (which has LSD) it would fail.

when you look into the drive shaft sockets - if you can see through it - it has LSD - if you cant see through it (like the above pics) it doesnt have LSD - simple
the wheel spin test does not work for all types of LSD

Thats a Type S gearbox (non-lsd)
