hey guys,

just got defected last night for ride height and on the notice it says "full inspection", so does that mean i have to clear any other defects i may have before the inspection or can i just fix the height up.

thanks

so it says, "it must be cleared at a full inspection" and "at a AUVIS"?
if thats so, normally just fix the "faults" found and take it to a guy that does blue slips to get it checked and signed off..

ahh ok, so just fix my ride height, which was the only fault written down on the notice, and i should be alright to take it to the AUVIS ay?

no, it says full inspection.

so its gonna get a full blueslip inspection.

so anything not stock itll get failed.

anything not roadworthy itll get failed.

i got ****ed up with that.

got defected. full inspection.

got failed on windscreen chip, rooted wheel bearing, ended up costing me like 500 bucks to fix it all.

real pain in the rear make sure:

it doesnt leak anywhere
bushes are in good nick (check lower ball joints)
electrics work
all your suspension bits are converted back to stock
no rust
good glass
seat belts work
make sure it looks as if you'd be buying it again basically, worked for me when I got defected, suspension was too stiff in my case (got cleared without a mention of suspension ethier way the whole car needed it as in QLD its a whole safety cert to be supplied for any suspension defection)
