AP1 VS. AP2 headlights

Thinking about upgrading my headlights but can't decide which headlight to change too. AP2 or the AP1 (amber corner) lights... AP1 is growing on me!

But shouldn't it be what YOU like, not what others like? Ur the one drivNg it, looking after it etc. No point getting something u don't like.

Yeah of course, I just wanted to get some opinions from other members that's all. I'm leaning towards the AP1 lights personally...

have you or are you planning on upgrading you tail lights? did you upgrade your front bar to AP2? makes the difference, I'd do AP2 headlights but I'm biased, just seems to look more up to date.. my .02

AP1 with amber only looks good on white and black IMO.
Go AP2, they look fresher, our AUDM / JDM AP1 headlights look so outdated, its horrible.
Be sure to keep the AP1 bumper and lip with the AP2 lights but, my favourite combination atleast.

THE ap1 white picture is my favourite :). That car has AP2 rear lights

I prefer ap1 with ambers but that's just me :)

ap2 is nice too but it too umm how do i say prettyboy style look haha however still looks good. I don't like ap2 headlights on a ap1 front bar looks weird, ap1 front lights don't work on all front bars either as well haha.

I just recently installed ap2 headlights with matching tails. I think it makes the car look a lot more aggressive and modern in it's styling. It's starting to become a must upgrade for any ap1 in my eyes especially if u find that your current ap1's r foggy. I also found the actual light emitted is greater and sharper which has made driving at night more desirable

ebay has some new combination of s2k headlights which involve angel eyes and audi style LEDs
check em out if you want..something different. not a fan really but yea haha

nah man, I think in my opinion, always go OEM headlights, but for an s2k.. definitely need to upgrade to AP2.
But, while you're at it, may as well upgrade to an Amuse front bar or AP2 for a new modern and slick/aggressive look.

cbf with tailights though, apparently too much effort.

yea the taillight conversion is annoying. ive got ap2 taillights on mine, love the look. so much better but god there a **** to install, especially wen ur cutting away into the beautiful body :(

Yes..... And? Lol. I just my car to be an all round package. I got the bumper and lip cheap out of japan and at the time nobody was really doing it.
After seeing pics of na118 for example, it makes me think the best combo is ap1 bumper n lip + ap2 headlights - you definately need the ap2 headlights tho as the ap1s just look outdated and bland.

Yeah picked it up on Thursday arvo I took that pic yesterday arvo just after giving it a wash. The eye lids I got cheap and had my panel shop paint and fit them not sure if I like them but atm I do because in the flesh they give the front end a more aggressive look without having to change my whole front bar

Yeah but for price the AP2 light upgrade on a AP1 does modernise the front end

The all AP2 front is fresh / modern, but the AP1 bumper & lip with AP2 lights is clean.
