Single or Double Din head unit??

Opinions please!! I'm torn between aesthetics and practicality for my EP3.

I'm looking at a double din Alpine head unit which looks sick! But I play music from my Iphone via USB and do not like the idea of a USB cable dangling around the dash.

If I get a single din unit then I can chuck my phone into some free space, but it doesn't look as pretty.

HELP!!!

If anyone's got any photos of their interior, some visual guides might be able to help me decide

i have an alpine single din headunit with a usb cable and ipod cable running to the glovebox in my EG
all the cables are out of sight

Just run the cable all the way down into the centre storage. i hide my iphone cable there in my old EP3.

I like that idea. Now my next noob question. I need to source a din for the console. What have you guys done before? Internet? Stores round Melbourne? I asked JB Hi Fi but no luck.

Can you guys tell I have no idea whatsoever? :)

go to a decent car audio store and have a play with different ones, see what you like.

U can go to Honda dealer and get one for a EU civic but it doesn't bolt straight onto the frame.

I can't be bothered making up a bracket so I just taped it on lol

3 years later and still no problem. Just dun put heavy objects and too much force.

However OEM ones are bloody exxy so if u should try to find an alternatively
