Hey, guys.
Didn't really think about it at the time while purchasing an OEM Foglight, but my foglights that i have recently purchased on ebay from the U.S.A isn't made for our audm dc5. Reason is because their passenger side is opposite to ours meaning the electrical wires needed must be at different lengths. In this case, the wires are too short for my car.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
Are there any types of extension wires i could buy etc...?
Thanks:angel:

pics of foglight kit!!

having wires that don't fit is probably the best problem u could of come across.
just spend some time and extend all the wires out, with a little patience and some solder it will be fine.

Is your car a type r or a type s, what year model. People tend to buy different ones by mistake, e.g pre-facelift and facelift. Both are different styles, so be sure you bought the right model foglights.

Easy fix? Take to a auto electrician to make up a new harness...
They will make you up a new harness to reach the cabin mate...
Mine cost me $30..
Anywhere between $30-$90 is reasonable i suppose.
Depends how much 'trouble' they have if you get me.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot mate. I'll see if there's local places to do it at next week.
Just a quick qs. to install oem foglights into my 2004 dc5r, does it require cutting the bumper for it to fit ? :(
