Who here has a Modifry Stereo control adaptor?

Guys i have just ordered a wired DCI for my s2000.

The car has an aftermarket Pioneer unit.

Whoever has installed the H/U has cut the original loom and thrown it away and wired the pioneer loom to the factory wiring., as my original plug is now gone is this going to be a pain in the ass to install??

I also ordered the optional spare DCI cable as i was unsure if i needed it or not.

Im not too bad with wiring but just wanted a heads up.

Just match the colours one by one, and you can't go wrong.

Just find the wires that were from the original loom. You only need two from the factory wiring from memory. Instructions that come with the adaptor are very clear.

when you say stereo control adopter what exactly are you refering too? sorry to sorta highjack this thread but is it possible to get the buttons on the steering wheel to work without having to buy an attachment.

no, thats what we are referring to.

the attachment (modifry dci) is the module which makes the buttons work again.

mate did your car still retain the original stereo wiring plug?

Nah, just found the wires that weren't being used with the new deck and matched the colours up to the colours on the instructions. Shouldn't be too hard to find em.

i have a pioneer head unit also. i should get this. did u get it from the website you posted?

I've got one, it's awesome. A must if you're changing the headunit IMO.

when ordering from modifry, what do you put for the state ? it doesnt accept "other countries". and under the states option its got all US states?

the cup holder from modifry is bullsh!t. i ordered one, its too big to install anywhere in the car AND if u do find somewhere to install, it opens up to the size of an american extra large maccas coke cup. waste of money.
