Whistle sound from cai intake, is that on all type r's??

Heyy I was just wondering what cold air intake do u guys have on ur dc2 type r's and whether that intake whistles or not. The reason is my Mate's type r has a no brand 2 pipe cold air intake and his whistles but I've got an injen and my dusnt whistle at all

what pod filter you got, injen hydro sheild? because they don't whistle with that pod for some reason.

i got mugen CAI and it whistle and my mates injen CAI whistle too, try to clean ur pod filter

thanx for the replies guys...umm i had the injen air filter and i swapped it with a clean k&n extreme pod filter and still no whistle. also when the car is cold and i start it up it doesnt have that loud induction noise that you hear at idle when it is still cold

Yeah my Fujita CAI whistles on my CRX, and my DIY/no-name CAI whistles on my Civic. Sounds sweet if you ask me :D

I've tried playing around with the idle screw and it has made a whistle however it is barely noticeable and not the same whistle my mates type r makes...also wud increasing or decereasing idle speed effect performance
