HELP: buying a jdm dc2r

im from sydney and im looking for a dc2r atm.

This dude is selling his 2001 jdm dc2r for $27500ono / with mods ( different state)
I know a fair bit about the aus dc2r but i no idea about them japs dc2r...
wat sort of things i should look out for, for a jdm dc2r!!

WTF theres a jdm 2001 dc2r in aus dang. People are lookin at 96 here in melb be dam lucky if u can even find 98. -_-. So you're sure its 2001 yeah?

Make sure it's private import and not a rebuild car, u will register it in nsw rite?

i know.. i was real shock when he told me that his jdm was a 2001 and only going for that price..

i should really do some serious check up on this type R but dont know where i can get the rite information from... THAts why i turn to ozhonda

the car that is selling is my friends, friends car..its a personal import...and yes its a genuine 2001 JDM model...full specs...LSD, HID's, the works..its white and is sexy...and price is good..im sure you can bargain a tad ...good luck with it...dont pass up your chance to have a JDM Type R :cool: :D

Check VIN plate/no. to confirm manufacture date?

Why wouldnt it?? is it becos of the mods and wont get blu slip in NSW?

HMm im not so sure if it is a personal import.. there is actually no compliance plates on the car...so i dont think it is able to be registered in sydney..just make sure first.
If it is a personal import should have some sort of compliance plate on it..if im not mistaken should be a yellow one...

this car can be registered as all the VIN and engine numbers are all on the VICROADS database!! basicly vicroads just used the VIN plate that came with the car and registered!!

the REGO sticker maches the VIN number in the engine bay :)

but yeah this is a orgianl 2001 personal import JDM DC2R :)
