OK, here is the deal, i can only use normal font, and only try to save it on the first go,

once i try anything fancy, it shuts down on me...

the sig you see is the one i want, but it will have to stay plain jane untill whatever gremlin exists is excorcised from the DB...

sorry to hassel you Wyn,

thanks for looking into it...

Dave,

I think it has to do with the fact that the WYSIWYG editor doesn't show you the HTML tags that get counted in your signature.

Will confirm/investigate and get back to you.

Post here a signature that does not work (Copy and paste it as a post) so I can test it out.

Is anyone else having problems with their signatures?

Yes, been like that for awhile... I got away with it agez ago and just left it for so long.. but recnetly i needed to change, i had to get a mod to change it for me :(..

Remember guys....HTML codes are included in the length...so having fancy colours and fonts/bold etc will take up the max length :)

See my signature here? It is 200 characters exactly :)

The above was posted by me after inreasing the signature limit to 200 characters.

I tried 100, 190, 201 and 200 characters. All worked except for 201 characters.

Remember, if your signature doesn't contain PLAIN TEXT ONLY, the HTML code used will add to the character count :)

I hope this sorts things out?

PS: Best way to tell is to do your signature in notepad then copy and past it into OH (or disable the Enhanced editor and choose the Standard editor).

Edit Options -> Message Editor Interface -> Standard editor

The standard editor will show you all the HTML codes.
