Hey guys,
The window visors im trying to install came with 3M double sided tape already on so just gotta peel and stick on.
The part on the door that it goes on has the plastic black trim shit. Do i just clean that with some isopropyl alcohol then stick it on that? or am i meant to take the black trim off and stick it onto whatevers underneath
Just being careful as i don't want these to fall off down the track
Cheers

It usually goes under the black trim you can slide it under it and it gets really tight later on due to it being held down constantly and it already being adhesive
Something i've realised with these visors on integras is that the end part (side near the rear) tends to get loose overtime and sags abit if not applied properly and water gets through there when this happens and its pretty damn annoying cause if you open the window a tad while its raining it will slowly get through there if you don't apply it correctly the first time.

the more expensive and better quality visors clip on underneath the black stuff
but the cheap ebay ones with 3m tape just stick straight on

^ stick straight ontop of the black shit right? cos mine will come straight off if some kunt hits it accidently walking past my car. im expecting it to probably sag over time or come flying off when im on the freeway
it's not the best fit either, but it'll do for $110... what you reckon?

yeah they are the same as mine - when i first put them on i was hella worried about them coming off - but that 3m stuff is actually really strong
been on there for 6months now and i drive 100kms round trip every day

Ahh ok thanks mate for the reassurance. Even if they do start coming off, it'll cost a few bucks for a new strip of 3M tape anyway.

Did you prep the area before you stuck it down? I just went nuts with isopropyl alcohol and a microfibre cloth. Black shit was coming off hard

Well mate, I hope some prick doesn't decide to rip them off. Best wishes, seriously.

yeah i juss used the rubbing alcohol from the chemist (green bottle with alligator)
alot of black stuff came off - but i just used enough to make it clean - didnt want to rub the plastic down lol
i havnt had a problem with mine - and once they set in - you cant just 'rip them off'
that 3m stuff is strong like kung fu

I only park my car at uni so my worry is people walking in between cars bumping them off along with my side mirrors
