Cutting "metal" between my guards and rear bumper

Ok i have a eg5 which is lowered 2 and a quarter front and back and im running sportsmaxx 501s 0 offset with kumho 195/50s... Also equipped with a rear blox camber kit which is set to about 3 degrees i believe.. However i am still scrubbing at the rears... My guards a rolled... I've been told numerous times that eg's have this metal joint under the guards located near the bumper that sticks out abit and scrubs onto my tyres.. i jacked up my car and noticed this piece of metal...?

Many honda owners have cut this piece of metal... Any ideas where i can get this cut? Im sure you eg owners know what im talking about cheers :)

instead of cutting it why dont u fold it further in.
ever consider running coilovers to reduce bounce ?

you can run a smaller tyre for better stretch aswell which would minimise ur scrubbing problem
