so the rims are BRONZE 16"x7 5zigen FN01RC (5x114.3 ET42).

what are your guys opinions and thoughts, i think the stock dc5r wheels are 16s? or 17s?

you reckon it will look silly, or your reckon it will loook good and ride better? than getting like 18s or something? and it gives me more room to slam it down (i.e lower the car) hehe.

thoughts please guys

Best size for EK/EG is 15" IMO.

For DC5, go 16" for performance.

We need to save weight with our N/A Hondas, go smaller lightweight rims. Reduce that weight.

Yeah, 16"s look good on a DC2, but the DC5 is too chubby for 16"s. Needs 17"s.

Tyre choice is crap for 16", that by itself is reason enough to go for 17". The DC5 needs more than a 225 tyre in track situations and tyres wider than this are very rare to fit a 16" wheel.

oks well now ive scraped the 16" wheel idea.

so decided on 17" wheels. getting some rotas, ordering them on monday.

now, so i got a choise between 17x8 +35 and 17x9 +35.

thinking i might go for 17x8 +35, so i can fit my tyres from my stock dc5r wheels.
will they be alright to fit on stock height??

Stock dc5r wheels are 16x6.5"... Stock
Tyre sizes are 205/55/16... Why would u want to stretch 205 on a 8" rim when teir weak offset and ur stock height, this is in addition to ur stock wheels having a 16" diameter whereas the newnrotas are 17".

I really think u shouldnt order new wheels unttil you done the research, you have no clue in what u want.. Dont rush it!

meh just seeking help, me and my mates at work are all using this profile hence the multiple posts.

me, well im running stock wheels on my dc5r ive just lowered it this week and im putting on the 16" rims (cause they are cheap 5zigens 2nd hand) or 17x9 +35 offset if i get off my mate, they sit alot more aggressive. but i wouldnt mind have 16" rims, bit of a upgrade aesthetically, with the bronze and blue lugnuts, and if i further down the track get 17x9 +35 wheels it will be a good backup wheels.

or who knows... i could just be like, ahh 16's look shit on my car, sell em, put the stockies back on and then get the 17x9's ....this is the probable outcome.

Please share with us 16" wheels on slammed dc5! Most aussies about 90% wilk use a 17" rim.

In usa, an 18" is more popular.

Personally i use 17" for track and 18" for street

will do. my car gets back on the road next saturday, after 1month in the workshop. My brother owns a workshop, so every couple nights i slowly have been putting my parts on the motor and to the body.
Sound systems, dvd screens, subs, headers, intake, skunk2 exhaust system, halo projectors, rear brace, different centre console.... and besides that i basically took the interior apart and gave it a thorough clean, last owner wasnt so nice, in 70,000kms he manage to rip the bolsters on my recaros. so they are getting restiched.

Ricing it up eh?

Stick to handling and engine mods rather than DVDs, consoles and subs.

Sounds like 18s would be more your style.

I still don't understand why people have DVD players in cars. That's what back seats and females are for. In-car entertainment.

Agree with this, why you going for 16s when your trying to make ur DC5 baller status? Makes no sense.

Anyway, in for pics.
