Just finished installing my Hasport mounts for my DC5R. Although when the car is idling the revs will occasionally fluctuate between 600-800rpm and feels like the car is going to stall. Is this normal?

shouldnt be at alll. simply try resetting ecu, see if that helps?

I disconnected the battery while I was fitting the engine mounts. Could the ecu still be in "learning" mode? Drove the car about 5km's since the install.

possible yes. But IMO the feeling you have is more likely a resonance in the engine amplified by the stiffer mounts.....FYI my EP3 has stiff mounts and once it settles to warm idle it has a almost THROB THROB THROB feel to it.

The ECU is in learn mode.
As per the manual you are supposed to let it idle for 10 mins or until the cooling fan comes on a second time, and during that period there is a lot of fluctuating RPM's as the ECU attempts to recognize the air/fuel ratios.
If you didn't do this the first time around, I'd reset it again.

I'll probably reset it again tomorrow.
Although I did let the car warm up from cold until the needle was in the middle of the gauge
Out of curiosity which mounts did u get mate? 62a or 70a? Coz I'm planning on buying some myself very soon, mine are ****ed. And where from if you don't mind me asking?

62a which are more than enough for street and light track. JDMyard
