TB diameter on B-series is larger than your Aussie D-series or ZC.

the workshop that did my swap tried to retain the D16Y1 (SOHC VTEC) intake tube on my B16, but where you put the intake onto the TB, it split as the TB diameter was significantly larger than the D-series.

I then fitted an Integra VTiR intake tube which fit the TB perfectly, however the path of the intake was nothing special as it was designed to mouth lower as the B18C TB is much lower thanks to the dual-tract intake manifold.

I ended up making a 3" diameter alloy intake pipe but THAT was too large for the TB and I had to use the end of the rubber integra VTiR intake as an adaptor for the piping.

the easiest option would be to source an Integra GSi (non VTEC) intake tube and link it to your existing air-box.

so the box is the same size but the tubing is different?

well not sure if there is difference from EG6 to other EG air-boxes but any EG airbox will use the same resonator path etc. basically your stock airbox will be OK, but your D-series intake tube will not fit.
