Good evening,
I am looking for a machinist or someone that can rethread my gear knob ive just purchased
The threading comes as 12M x 1.25P (metric)

Can someone recomend where i can get that rethreaded to 10M x 1.5P metric or add/remove something to make it 10m x 1.5P? in melbourne. and if possible, can someone tell me how much i am looking at spending? (im a uni student so im counting my pennies so i gotta get ready to have enough)
cheers in advance.

If ur uni has a engineering department or so, ask around, they have all the thread making tools u need, as far as thread making companies, ur best bet is to ask bolt shops, an go from there

Most places that do machining should do threading as well

Any engineering shop should be able to do it for you, just gotta find one thats willing to take on such a small job. The labor cost is probably going to be similar to the cost of a new gearnob though
