I have a 96 Integra and there is a small oil leak which I don't have the money to fix at the moment. It's leaking onto the exhaust and was told that this would be a defect and would not get a pink slip which i need to get this weekend. Is this true? And if so anyone know a place in Sydney(inner west area) that would pass this..Thanks in advance

Just try your luck man, go from shop to shop with your rego papers eventually you'll find a place that will give you a pinky without looking at the car

^ just remember, they'll make you pay for the pink slip whether you pass or fail

Just be aware that if you have more than one place actually do the pink slip then the rta will want to know why so chose the place carefully. Also, get it fixed asap! That's a potential fire in the making.

I'd suggest getting under the car with hot water and liquid dynamo and scrubbing off every trace of oil. Then getting under it 2 streets away from the servo and giving the underbody sump and gearbox another wipe over. If oil is pissing out you don't stand a chance but if it's a few drips you may get lucky. But if it fails, I sure wouldn't risk driving it

But seriously, get it fixed.

just spray it off with degreaser n hose it down with water..it wont leak that much from urs to the mechanics...if its small they wont always mind
