Hi wondering if anyone could help me, I have a 94 crx which has been undriven for around 8+ months. had been started regularly but not driven. The clutch was fine when I last drove it but today when I took it out it seems like there is no clutch at all.

I can change gears but just. Is full of clutch fluid aswell.

Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks.

id change the clutch fluid with fresh dot 4 fluid.

Just because the resevoir shows fluid doesnt mean there is airbubbles orotherwise grit in the lines that has sedimented over this past 8+months. Its a cheap fix so see if it helps !

1) Fill up reservoir and get a mate to start pumping the pedal up and down and get him to hold down the pedal while you release the nipple on the clutch master cyclinder.

2)Top up fluid as required and get your mate to repeat bleeding process again.

3))look under the pedal and the other side of the firewall and check for leaks.

Common problem is the clutch master cylinder.

Like mao said, hondas have a common problem with the master cylinder, in the worst case, you may have to replace it. Part cost like <50 bucks but the labor to replace it will cost you an arm and a leg, same situation happened to my mate.
