Y1 Cablebox LSD into S4C?

Helloooo pplz - Question is can it be done. And is it straight swap without having to change all the gear set?...


I have a Y1 gearbox with LSD sitting here i was wanting to take the LSD to put it in my EK4 S4C gearbox...
Will it go or am i just best off purchasing a EK9 LSD...

as far as I know it the size diff centre but I think best to sell the y1 lsd gearbox complete and then track down a ek9 lsd gearbox or lsd centre
There alot of people after a y1 gearbox with a lsd

Has to be the B000 version D16Y1 Gearbox to be able to handle an OBX LSD wihtout moding bearing and making custom shim's

Can you find the round casting stamp, about 10mm dia, near (10cm) the oil filler hole? prob need a torch and crawl around under the car.

A000 is 36mm
B000 is 40mm
