Cheers for that. So the vtir has linear springs? never would have guessed.

Whats the conversion calc from lbs/in. to kg/mm, just convert the pounds and inches like normal?

Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know what the benefit would be of having a softer spring at the rear matched to a 246 lbs/in front spring? I'm looking at getting some springs for my car and the fronts are 245 and the rears progressive at 100 to 185 and just wondering why Honda would have done a stiffer rear on the ITR, considering it's suspension is supposed to be one of the best FWD.

Is anyone running Whiteline control springs with koni yellows?

also, can someone with a vtir with stock suspension pls measure the distance from the centre of the wheel to the guard for both front and rear for me? Cheers.

i see no benefit of having softer springs on the rear?

stiffer = better dude...

i am running 670lbs/in front springs and 450lbs/in rear springs on my DC2

oh, and FYI - the suspension on the DC2 Type R is the BEST factory setup of any FWD car...

stiffer = better to some degree yes, I agree, but on a twisty road with lots of bumps (like most of the good aussie ones are) then if they are too stiff you will have skipping and hurt handling as you will lose traction... I'm sure you're springs are amazing on a track of smooth surface but how do they handle poor surfaced corners? (not ciriticising your car or nothing)

I didn't know if it was something to do with the oversteer/understeer balance.

This is just for a cheaper alternative, is it worthwhile to put type R suspension($700) into a vtir then to buy a whole new package($1300)?

i know it's a very open question but i'm considering this option.
