D1 NZ – Final Round
http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx270/go2spacebucket/YOKOHAMA/racingupdate2.jpg
For any drifter, competing along names like Mad Mike and Gaz Whiter is a goal that some could only dream of. However for South Australian Jake Jones, (aka Drift Squid), this quickly became a reality. Unfortunately, the honour of competing with such names wasn’t met without its problems. Mechanical issues, Natural disasters and spontaneous combustion were all on the cards for this campaign.
“Lee and myself arrived in Auckland a few days earlier to go over the car and make sure its all sweet. After a full on spanner check and a quick run on a kiwi hub dyno we were set and ready to rock.“
