Hey guy I've put a deposit on a ek4 front cut. I'm putting it into my ek1 gli. Now seller told me its a complete front cut.

Question is, is there any thing else I need for the conversion.?
I'm doing the conversion at home with a few mates, one if which is a mechanic. I just want to make sure I have everything I need.
It's a basic take out and drop in process I hoping.
Aim is to get the car with the new motor running in two days. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for be aware of?.
Cheers,fellas.

if its a front cut, use everything imo. hubs, shafts, brakes, everything you possibly can.

But no, unless it came minus an ecu, you shouldnt need anything

He can use the brackets from the halfcut obviously.

You'll need to add in one wire for the VTEC Solenoid (VTS) assuming you won't be swapping over the main wire harness behind the dash. I'm not sure if EK1 comes with a heated O2 sensor already. If not, you need to add in a few wires to accommodate the EK4 4-wire O2 sensor. Lastly, you need to also wire in the Knock Sensor.
