What would the B series gear box add? i had an eg b18c7 in my old eg to be honest the h22a would maul it way more torque in it

The JUN Prelude (http://www.junauto.co.jp/democar/prelude/explain.html?en) which has a H22 with the JUN high lift camshaft kit, and JUN pistons (still 2.2L) does 269PS, vs 220PS of the Type-S. Another 49PS for you, but probably quite expensive. But if you were doing that, I'd say you might as well have started with a cheaper and less rare normal H22 instead of the Type S if you are planning to change the pistons.

As I understand it you can't use a H2B kit with an ATTS block, so it wouldn't work with on a Type S engine. Perhaps you meant S Spec though? Same everything, except a regular non ATTS block. For the most gains, boosting makes the more sense. You could spend a fortune on N/A mods and you will never hit the power/torque of a cheaper turbo setup.

I've used a type S ATTS block with the H2b Kit. I made a 8mm adaptor plate at the back of the block.

Ok, so to clarify. Not without modification.
