Recaros newb question

uh wondering if i brought a driverside recaro sr3 without rails, but then ive got a passenger rail would i beable to fit that rail in to the recaro and put it as my passenger seat? or would that make any sort of effect for the seatbelt ?

I believe the significant difference would be the rails and how they mount to the car body, not really how RHD and LHD recaros mount onto the rails themselves. I know your gonna have a seatbelt light connector thing for the drivers side.

I'm pretty sure it doenst matter if the drivers/passneger recaro can bolt onto a drivers/passenger rail ... but what about teh seat belt mounting location .... that may not work unless ur gonna be using race harnesses. That, and the centre console will be in the way when trying to recline the recaros

As above, if u use the correct rails, with the belt buckle, it shouldnt matter which recaro, the seats are universal, its the rails that matter, eg., ek an dc use the same sr3, but different rails afaik

To fit Recaros into EG/DC2/DC2R, you can use DC2R rails. The seats are interchangeable but the rails are not. I.e. Driver rail for driver seat.

To fit Recaros into an EK, you will need EK9 or vision rails.

The seatbelt buckle goes with the rail, not the seat.
