Hello ozhonda my cars been leaking water in to the cabin from driver passanger side under the dash.. and i took out the plenum cover where the wiper blades are and emptied a bottle of water didnt seem like it was blocked or anything, i used some silicone on the plenum cover where it meets the windscreen but after i washed my car there are still droplets of water just outside the ecu.. seems a bit dangerous my whole passanger floor is drenched in rainwater from last night.. any thoughts on how i might be able to fix this? thanks ozhonda

I had this problem. Took off the black cover that goes over the bottom of the windscreen outside the car (just above the bonnet - some plastic clips) and pulled out a few handfuls of leaves so that the water drained properly.

i have taken the black cover off and its clean like literally nothing there.. but when i looked around the black cover the seals are really worn could that be the problem?

Yeah that was exactly the same as what I found with mine.

if you have done what others have said and still cant find the culprit, try the below.

have you checked if you have a leaking heater hose?

check the bypass valve near firewall and follow the hose towards incabin (behind the dash). if the hose is leaking then water will drip down.

good idea to also check your coolant & coolant reservoir - see if your loosing water/coolant.

Check if the heater hose is blocked by going under the car and blowing it out. Try make hard right turns and see if you can hear water running down.

I mean the hose which drains out the condensed water from the evaporator.

Do you have a sunroof?

If yes, then check that the outlet for the hoses that run from the roof down both sides of the car vent to the the outside (under the guard).

If they don't then any water from the sunroof will empty into the cabin and any excess water from the front windscreen will find its waythrough the hole and your foot wells will very quickly fill with water.

The vent under the dash is up high. You have to look with a light. This applies to both sides of the car.

^^i had this problem with my sunroof.

Remove the roof lining and a pillar covers and find the water outlet hoses.

Make sure they're not blocked and are still running out to the fender.

If its not, clean the hose out and and make sure it's properly mounted so it'll vent excess water outside to the fender.

hey guys, thank you all for your input... i found out what the problem was a while ago. the people who put the windscreen in didnt seal it properly at the top left corner... i used clear silicone to seal it up hasnt leaked since.. farkk
