Hi All,

I just received my (replica) Mugen Rear spoiler today and I got it already painted to my colour code so it's ready to be fitted :)

Can any one give me any ideas on how to fit it? I know its not too complicated (3 screws, bang, done) but I am just not sure how to mark the position where the screws would go on the bonnet so I can drill the holes for them.

Any tips from previous experience perhaps would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like this just in case you're not familiar with it:

dude don't use the screws, there is no sleeve within the actual spoiler so it would not be a very secure fit. the screws can be prone to coming undone easily from vibrations. your best bet would be double sided tape and glue ;) i got mine fitted today that way, will post pics soon

You reckon that will be strong enough? What double sided tape and glue did you use? I heard 3M VHB was the strongest double sided tape available.

just picked the car up now, i dont know what tape they used but i made sure they told me it would hold. the rest was filled in with sikaflex so water doesnt get in.

another fact; they told me the spoiler is hollow so personally i would not bolt it in, and if the time comes that you ever need to remove the spoiler, you won't have holes in your boot :)

definately go for the strongest tape you can get dude :)
