hey fellas
this is a post for my mate because frankly he's a lazy ass and cant be f***ed signing up here so im postin it up on his behalf
he has a silver 2004 euro luxury and he was wondering if its possible to put the leather driver and passenger seats from the TYPE S and implant it onto his euro.... would he have to get custom rails etc?
and also, if u could, how could/would u disconnect the electic seat adjusters that come with the euro

It depends if he has striped an integra type s!
It is a good idea but just check prices first. Your mate might be in for a shock.

Another note.. The Euro's seats have side airbags equipped in them...:)

oh damn......does that mean the seats stay as they are since they have side airbags? u cant even change them to normal buckets? like bride or recaros?
cuz i thought its illegal to change parts which have airbag components in it. e.g if a steering wheel had an SRS, i always thought u cant change it to an aftermarket
someone tell me if what i was told was right or wrong

you can change the seats to non air bag ones but I think your SRS light may stay on all the time though.

Yeah u got told right.. Can't change to an aftermarket steering wheel if it has an factory airbag in the factory steering wheel...

Don't know why ur friend wants to change the seats and have all that hassle especially when the luxury has electrical & heated seats for Type S seats which is a bit more bucketier...

If u have a little kid ask him to sit on the front passenger seat when driving.. U will find that on the euro the SRS light will light up.. So in the event of a crash the side airbags won't pop out.. So he/she won't get injured or killed from a inflatable airbag...

Is that why you leave the kids seat belt undone??? :D:D:D

Putting aftermarket seats like bride or recaro would make the car unroadworthy as the euro comes factory with Side Airbags, However the Type S seats do have the side airbag so i dont know if it would be a problem,
