I bought an Integra VTI-R 99 model which the driver side of the window won't go up or down, its just closed.

Wondering what would be the problem as i took off the door trim thing and it wasn't the wires because the right window still goes down and i can still move my electric mirrors around.

Isn't the fuse because i replaced it and still wouldnt work.

Could it be the motor?

By the way I'm pretty sure the person who owned it converted most of the doors to a type R, looks exactly like a type R replica!

How much would it cost (quote) to fix my driver side electric window and where?

Im in the Western Sydney side near Blacktown.

Much help is appreciated thanks.

might be a faulty switch, happened to me recently. Just replace it with another switch from wreckers

If fuses are all good, open up the door trim. Unplug the power window motor connector and apply 12V to it and see if it goes up or down. If no response, then it is likely the switch. Disassemble switch and clean the contacts and reconnect.

hmm, most dc2 have problems with windows on the passenger side, so the window does not budge at all when you switch it down? or just a tiny bit

No the window does not budge at all when the switch goes down.
I think it could be the switch guys!
cos i took my door trims out to check for speakers after i bought it. no speakers at all.
But the switch on the right for the right driver feels very loose where as the left switch for the the left passenger feels tight and right working perfectly fine.
Might open my door trim and check out my switches.

BTW could you use any switch from the wreckers, or is there a specific switch for the dc2 ?
another question where is the nearest or best wreckers around Sydney?
