headers or exhaust?

Hi, in the near future, im looking at changing either the headers or exhaust for the dc2r. Now I would love to do them at the same time but sadly I cant afford it.
Im leaning towards the headers as it will most likely show more impovement then a cat back exhaust, but my question is, if i get some japanese headers(or any headers), im pretty sure you have to change to a high flow cat? and if so, can I install an aftermarket cat back system without cutting/welding in the future? ie do I need an S2000 flange etc http://forums.clubrsx.com/images/smilies/confused_color.gif

I got a friend who brings in whole systems for a pretty gd price, as in genuine Toda, pm me if yr intreasted.

My advice is change the whole system at 1 go , u will have a gd kick outta it.
If u cant , then maybe get it later but do it at 1 go ..
