Hey guys,

Me and a mate are looking to purchase these Skunk2 Pro C's but we have a slight
problem discerning whether they will fit out Jazz's.
My mate has and '03 and I have the '05 Jazz.

We are just wondering if these below will fit.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SKUNK2-Full-Coilover-Kit-Pro-C-06-08-Honda-Fit-I4-1-5L-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZMakeQ3aHondaQ7cModelQ3aFit QQhashZitem3f04ba824dQQitemZ270662271565QQptZMotor sQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_3539wt_94 1

Now on that page it says that the coilovers will fit the 06-08 Fits in America.
Does anyone know if these will fit our year models here in Australia??

Much help would be appreciated.
Melvin

OK
in 2006 the Jazz/Fit had a cosmetic face lift but it was still known as the GD3.
but in Australia we have had the jazz since 2001 but it wasnt till 2006 that they imported it to america, which is why all the american parts say that it fits 06-08 models
so if it was in australia and it was an 06 model part it would fit an 03 model part. ive ordered tonnes of things for the 06 model, it just happens that 06 model parts more common because there became a market in the USA.

so long story short, it should fit.

the facelift is pure looks the suspension mounts and such would be unchanged,
same car new plastic

GD1 is to 2004 i think, and i KNOW that in the states, the 1.5 engine in the "Sport" ver is the same L15A1 engine delievered to the VTi and VTiS in aust. parts out of the states are HEAPS cheaper then in AUST, and i found that alot of them are out of Japan, so it doesn't take much longer to get them shipped from the US

I dont thhink there's much of a chassis change over the gd1 and gd3.

i BELEIVE the GD2 and GD4 refer to the 4wd ver that was available in Japan.

Also, i'd like to know if the pistons from a G13 suzuki engine, (74mm bore), would fit the Jazz, if bored out, (stock is 73mm bore).

My CP Pistons cost me 600us, were you can get the G13's for likw $150us. Ebay pricing.

considering buying a second jazz, and want to run high comp high RPM quad throttle body engine for track work.

Well mate i have a 2003 GD3 Jazz VTi.
since the jazz was released here in 2002 they all came from japan,
The 2002 models were GD1, the GD2 (the 4wd version of GD1) was never released here.
In 2003 the Jazz's available in AU were the GD3 models.
This continued until 2006 when the GD3 was given a facelift (just a new front Bumper, no actual changes to the body) and Australia began importing all the Jazz's from Thailand.
this happens to be when the Jazz was introduce to the USA, hence why all USA parts say 2006-2008, its just because in the USA there were no models before the 06.

so just to confirm, AUDM Jazz's can run USDM coilovers?

Yes, they should all be the same since they are all made in thailand/japan. despite the face-lift the rest of the car should be the same.
As long as there are 2 McPherson struts and 2 sets of springs with dampers.

Just as a heads up...me and my mate didnt end up getting these Skunk2s.
We settled for BC Coilovers and we couldnt be any happier. As long as
it's solely for street use you couldnt get any better for the price.

Yeh, Ive got a set.

how much did u pay for them brand new?
i picked mine up really cheap on here like $500

also how much did you lower your car? (50mm is the legal amount before requiring a permit, it must also be atleast 100mm off the ground LOL)
