I was wondering if D15b7 timing belt is exactly like D16y1?

Call a Honda parts dealer and ask them, see the if part numbers match up.

My guess is no.

d15b7 timing belt has 106 teeth. i know d16z6 has 104 teeth. and apparently d16z6 is the equivalent of our d16y1 but in US market. well thats my take on it

Just look at an online catalogue such as dayco or bosch. But no, they are not the same. cnez is right regarding the number of teeth
