Today i noticed a loud knocking sound from my engine bay so i had a look and noticed i had power steering fluid everywhere. it was coming out of where that red knob is on the resovouir.

i also noticed it makes a grinding/ clicking noise when i turn the steering wheel. it also has a knocking sound which i hope to god is something to do with the power steering pump and not my engine.

steering still feels fine and is no heavier.

all fluid levels seemed to be ok.

any idea whats wrong?

its a dc2r btw

any help much appreciated!

sounds like previous owner must of used non genuine honda oil. usually grinding noise happens when you use non oem oil for the power steering.

buy some power steering oil, you will need 2 bottles and then just follow a DIY and change it. simple to do
