FD2 Auto lock/unlock of doors

Hey guys,

In the manual on page 107 it says you can programme the door to auto lock and auto unlock. I personally think this is one of the best features as I ALWAYS lock my doors and would prefer it to be automatic.

The manual says for most countires except EU. I tried several times but could not get it to work.

I wanted to know if anyone else here has tried it successfully? If so, care to share your experience?

I might run it by Honda to see if they can officially support or deny it.

this annoys me too - i'm interested to know if there is a way on Euros

its standard feature on even older model EU cars e.g Puegeot and a good safety feature - i dont get it !!!

No, it is not featured in Australian Honda civic. Only available in a certain market.

It automatically locks if you unlock your car via remote and do not open the door. After about 30-1minute it relocks.

yeah this can be annoying and dangerous if u unlock the car, then choose to just open the boot via key, and leave ur key in the boot... then ur screwed... has almos happend to me many times lol.. now i just unlock car, open a door and then the boot just in case

1+ i agree with you, happens on the fn2r aswell... haha ive locked my keys inside my car so many times cause of this ==!
