Going from B18 to H22, is there much gain?
Coz I can understand ppl B and K swapping a D series eg Coz of the major Peformance difference but going from 1.8 to 2.2 was it worth it?

Yes. very much so, way more torque and pulls hard up top too.

there is no replacement for displacement.
a bigger motor will always have more torque and torque is good. sure a small motor can be quick but putting a bigger motor in as long as the weight gained is minimal is going to be better.
looks like a quality swap. enjoy.

interesting... clean swap but curious as to why you chose not to go h2b instead?

it would be awesome but not enough funds at the time, might do it later on down the track. The h transmission isn't as bad as i expected though.

Yeah seems to be about what they are going for. Or engine only about $1250 I have found.

im guessing if you swap one into an accord its alot more straightforward than into dc or eg so you might not really need a whole frontcut

Real keen on the power output on dyno.. Nice setup btw bro. Are you still running standard ecu? or aftermarket
Would be nice one day but want to do the suspension first for my Accord.
+1 for power output though, especially JDM version.

thanks man. stock ecu, all stock except for a lil bit of an exhaust setup. made 112kw, which i think is about the norm for these in stock form. after quite a few more mods will hopefully be going hondata
