CL9 starter motor

hey guys need help asap, the euro starter motor died and i need to replace it. the only thing that is holding me back is how to take it out ? i know where it is just cant seem to reach and unscrew bolts. some are telling me i need to remove the intake manifold .. ? k24a3 i assume

hey cheers for the input, but my bigger question was how to reach there. its under the IM and the driver side of the engine bay has all the belts etc. cannot reach into there ..

so i wanted to know what to do :S

You need to remove the intake manifold. Easy to do so if you have flexible arms and a 1/4" socket + ratchet. The bitch bolt is the one just under the intake manifold. You need to be Mr. Fantastic to reach in there but it is possible.

or split the manifold first.
