so yeah that plastic thing in the door, protecting all the wires and stuff. do i need that? can i just tip it out or something? its looking pretty worn out. what does it even do?

It's there for water proofing. Or should I say minimal ass moisture.

what if i wanted to replace them? where could i get replacement plastic film stuff?

just use cling wrap lol...its not a major issue if its missing though...........all of its been removed from my eg and no issues at all

leave it on it gets messy as if you take it off, their either sticky as fk or oily as fk and i gets on everything

i ripped mine out, cleaned up the door frame and skin and spraypainted both with weather proofing and sound deadening

worked like a charm =)
