hey guys,
I am in a process where I need to get a rwc and the car is a dc2 vtir and it in frost white but the rear bar is in black and front bar, fenders and bonnet are pyellow in color
will these multi coloured parts affect in getting a rwc?
also if I get pulled over is it possible to get a some sort of penalty from the cops
btw I don't have the original parts that came in white

There shouldnt be a problem, the colour of your car panels is not a safety issue.

No it's fine - it doesn't affect the function of the car so RWC is no problem and I doubt the cops could dick you for anything.

They can, actually. The colours of the panels need to match the colour on the registration, just as the plate number needs to match. So unless the car is registered as being 'White, Black and Yellow', it's technically illegal. Technically.

So if your car comes standard with a black bumper (matt black plastic, which is common) does it have to be registered as 'X colour with black front bumper'?
I'm sure that if you were pulled over and told them you were getting a re-spray shortly due to repairs then it would be fine, especially since the main body of the car (doors/roof etc etc) are the correct colour.

for the cars with 'black bumpers' they will go with the majority colour of the car. if it is white. the rego will be white

Do cars with factory two tone have to be registered as that colour? I.e vl commodore silver & whatever?
