i was thinking maybe taking the b18cr out of my jdm itr anbd putting it in this :D

has anyone here done it? is it worth it? what is needed?

Welcome! And congratulations on your purchase.

B18CR will be fun and yes it has been done BUT go one step further and do a B20 conversion yourself (B20 block from CRV + a B16 or B18C head), you will have bit more torque to play around with and the power/weight ratio will be insane and make it an absolutely maniac on the track! Leave the the JDM ITR alone! If you want to get rid of it i will buy it off you, but please do not ruin such a fine machine lol.

hi mate
there has been a few boys on Crx Aus who have done the swap and still love it after all the time and money they spent
A DC2R B18cr makes good power to weight but you will have upgrade the other parts alot eg. brakes, suspension and front traction bar kit to clear some of the exhaust header that are available for big power

think of doing a simlar swap myself in years time when save some money up

As for those with b18c's there is plenty.
And the results of happy crx owners speaks for themselves.

PM this User CRX (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/member.php?20386-_CRX_) he does all/most of the work himself. And knows alot on the CRX.
