Hi All,

Bit of a back story first skip a bit if you just want to see the question.

I'm currently onto my second Honda now my first being a prelude in which was my first car and my first experience with light modding (cold air intake, strut bars etc) anyways, caught the bug something fierce and moved onto my second Honda which is a 94 Civic EG with a JDM h22a BB6 engine currently just has bolt ons but I have massive plans for it.

Before I go into replacing engine internals upping the compression h2b mod etc I've decided to upgrade the braking/suspension of the car including completely stripping the car, tein coil overs etc.

I've gone completely over the top and have got 13" rotors with 8 pot calipers and the next upgrade will be 13" rotors with 6 pots for the back. (Please refrain from mentioning how absurdly stupid this is on a 900kg EG civic).

TL : DR PART IS HERE

Now I'm still pretty green to the whole modding scene and really just realized that I will probably need to get a better brake master cylinder to make all those pistons work properly.

Can you guys recommend any and all upgrades that will be required to run the two 8 pots on the front and two 6 pots on the back properly? Any links for parts, or links for some advice on the matter or just general advice besides something like "lol idiot sell the brakes and be a normal person" would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Before you start spending thousands of dollars on 8 and 6 pot brakes there are cheaper upgrade brakes within the honda family
First thing I need to know what is model eg you have?
Then we can help you more in pointing you towards the best combo
or
do a search in civic section you hopeful find your answer

You need to run a peddle box. Damn thats a over kill brake setup.

I currently have the prelude brake booster kit on it, and yeah it is completely overkill but well can you really have too much stopping power? I've already got the front brakes they are here with me sitting at home.

It is a 1994 Honda Civic GLI (No ABS)

Yes you can have too much braking power bro. Lose too much speed going into corners etc.

262mm is fine for pretty much any conversion on an EG. 282mm is excellent and more than efficient. Anything bigger and you're talking race-dedicated kind of performance.

What brand are the rotors etc? Did you consider a Wilwood upgrade kit with rotors/calipers and everything?

Nothing overly fancy they are Ksport ProComps, I am planning this to be a bit of a track car/weekend car/something to throw money at and is only my daily for the time being until my mate comes and picks up my old car.
