Following? What do you mean 'minimal air coming from exhaust'?

literally no air comming out of the exhaust when its running

well, air doesnt come out the exhaust, exhaust gas does.

also, how do you know nothing is coming out?

Pod filter should have nothing to do with it. You could run no filter at all and you should still be getting exhaust.

If gas goes in, gas must come out.

^^^ the guy has a point.

OP, are you comparing to 'before' you installed the pod or are you just noticing now?

i can put my hand right next to the exhaust and cannot feel any gas comming out if i swap it back to the stock air filter its fine

A filter swap alone will not do this. Unless you didn't take plastic wrapper off the new pod.

What it is the idle like with the new pod on?

pihlor

the idle on the pod is just under one which is the same with the stock airbox have had a look and theres no wrapping inside or outside

well obviously the pod is seriously restricting the air flow. This is a perfect demonstration in why pods are shit.

So buy a decent pod filter next time. Fujita or 3A Racing etc.

Give it a rev and see how much air comes out.

you prob have a massive hole in your exhaust somewhere...
how does it drive.?

So why does it work when there is a stock air box then?

i dont think there is enough information to come to any conclusion - and i dont think the OP can make a proper diagnosis either

- to the op - does the car drive any different with the pod filter on? if it is restricting air-flow it should make a massive difference

also check your exhausts for leaks - and check to see what flow of gas comes out with a bit of a rev (will require 2 people)

check the inside of the pod to make sure all the wrapping etc has been removed - make sure all hoses etc are connected properly

This is incredibly weird. Did you take it for a drive? If there is so little air flow then you will barely be able to rev the thing!

It seems that changing the stock airbox for a pod filter and getting your car to run properly is beyond your comprehension.
Just get someone else to install it for you.

Firstly, check that you didnt attach the pod into the exhaust.

The idle must have been super shit if there was no air coming out. Serious defect with the pod if so.
