is there a way to install the throttle pedal without drilling? cos there's only plates for the brakes and just bolts for the throttle?

is it possible to remove the rubber oem cover? cos i keep trying to pry it off from the tab at the top but still no luck :/

mine came with tape but i'm pretty sure that means they're fakes lol. as for taking the rubber covers off, mine just folded back and off. not sure about the a/t pedals though. you could probs just get some 3d tape and diy without drilling. good luck with the install

yeh there is tape on both pedals pretty sure its genuine but im just trying to figure out a way other than drilling. been trying to pry the throttle off.. the brake was easy came straight off.. dont think tape alone will be strong enough to stick onto the throttle rubber pedal lol

i would imagine that a larger a/t throttle pedal might be a bit harder to remove, but not as hard as you're making it sound. when you say 'pry' what are you using to pry it off and where are your prying points?

i mounted my clutch and brake pedals with both tape and the back plates/screws. the throttle pedal just tape on the metal beneath the rubber cover. i cleaned all 3 surfaces with metho before sticking the pedals down.

i'll try and work my ms paint magic when i get home and show you how i did mine :P

ohhh i see. haha thanks for that.. yeh the hard bit is just getting the rubber cover off the throttle pedal. i tried using a small flat screwdriver at the top of the pedal to pull it off but it doesnt seem to be coming off.. maybe im not prying hard enough :/

LOL i got that last bit completely wrong :o

in the end i didn't end up taking off my accelerator pedal rubber bit, i just stuck the mugen one on top with the tape provided.

This guy (http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2494653) shows that there's a little tab on the top of the throttle pedal, his is for a manual though, so not sure if its the same with auto.

The trick with the accelerator pedal is to slide it off. release the top edge, then slide it down.

It's made of quite stiff plastic for more precise throttle control rather than grip, so don't try to pry it off entirely. You'll need to slide it.

hmm i tried just then again but failed.. it seems like im just damaging the plastic at the top.. oh well i just placed it over the oem pedals lol.
