Ozhonda noob my first car

Hi guys and girls, iv been on this forum for a few months now and thought id introduce myself.

my name is Tony im currently 17 turning 18 doing my last year of high school and i work at Maccas its the shit (not really) iv been saving as much as i can and have been searching around for a car and i really liked the ek's so i was doing my homework on them me and my dad went to inspect a few but they weren't really in great condition.

after months of searching i found one that me and my dad was satisfied with and this is what i have found it is stock as a rock civic 2000 ek1 with type R front and rear lip and sitting on buddyclub sf challange lowered on king springs

i didn't take much photos of it when i first got it this was first week i had it

i was broke since i dont earn much from maccas a few weeks after my friend came back from japan and i got a new accessory to the car

i finally saved up enough for spoon mirrors but after 1 week of having them on somehow my dad broke them and had to put back the stock ones T___T

a few weeks later my cousin bought a xforce twin loop exhaust for his eg and i bought his cannon off him for $100 its some japanese brand only says areo R

i found replica recaros for cheap so i decided to grab them off a fellow OH member the seat were pretty stuffed and took quite a bit of effort to fix but in the end my dad helped me and i got to admit they dont really hug as much as the real ones does but they sure do hug more then the stock seats so happy with it and it looks better too

i few weeks of searching for a new intake to replace the stock on this popped up WHALE PENIS is what you guys call it but i grabbed this for $60 was a bargain could feel better throttle response

the shitty paint job on the lip were peeling off so i decided to DIY and fix it and so i sprayed it matte black at first i didn't know if it would of looked good or not but i came to like how the lip is just black

the parts that i wanted kept popping and was at decent prices but since maccas wages are shit i had to borrow money off my bestfriend and dad for this next item i always like the look of the CF spoon wing and i found one on sale so i bought it and was really satisfied with it

Yeah I didn't want to blur it but got from my friends Facebook and he blurred it cause he doesn't like people to know but I don't really care if it's blurred or not the bumper is the same colour as the rest

yeah the whale penis was used but it was in great condition bought it off a guy on firesport he posted it up for $80 but when I went to pick it up he said $60 as long he was happy with the price he was selling I'm happy

yes iv been wanting to get it colour coded back to silver but might be getting a new lip as this one has a crack Where it screwed onto the bumper kinda bugging me

Bought a new type r grille and foggies don't know if I want to put the foggies on or not it looks good both ways so I'm kinda hesitating to put it on cause I can go back because of the holes that will need to be cut out also waiting to pick up a carbon fibre hood but havent been working much due to school and year 12 is a bitch

yup that is correct but it doesn't belong to my cousin anymore he sold it and bought an ek =D will post some picks up but from what he told my cousin when he sold it his got really big plans for it he bought parts for the car before he even bought it off my cousin but i heard he killed the d16y1 that was in there think he blew the piston rings or something

thanks man well i originally wanted to do either a b16b or a b18cr conversion like you have (very jelly btw) but i was thinking why not be different since everyones got a b18c or b16a and my friend bought a h22a for his eg civic but he sold the civic and bought his dream car a 89 jdm crx and he was left with a h22a sitting in his garage so i started to read up on them and if you can find the right balance of suspension it can go quite well even though the front is heavy then i found out about the H2B conversions and that really got me so i offered to take the h22a off his hands and now im working my ass off to make it happen but i dont think ill be doing the h2b but would consider a k20 after a few year of fun with the h22a in it and for the price im getting the engine for id say its quite worth it
