Removing Stock HU from Civic>? Tips?>

Im going to be Pulling out the Stock "Honda" Hu and CD player from a EK Civic in the next few days.
Anyone have any hints on how to get it out etc etc??
Maybe even a guide?

easy as when i did it.. but u may hafto take apart ur centre console out since there is a screw at the back of the headunit holding it in place...

yeah, any tips/ secrets to undoing the center console??

to take the deck out all u need to do is take out the panel where the cigarette lighter is, to take out this panel u need to take out the panel under the drivers side also (takes 2 mins). once these 2 panels are out u can acces the screw that holds the head unit in and voila!! the head unit is out :) (just dont forget to unplug the wires off the HU)

Did any of you guys have problems with the immobiliser when you changed the head unit over?

i believe only the keyless entry system is linked to the stock headunit, not the immobiliser unit.
