FN Civic Type R motor and box into a DC2 track/race only

I have a FN2 Civic type R motor which has had the ancillaries damaged in a light burn.
Is it worth putting it into my track project ITR and what sort of computer should I use if I did.I already have a B series type R,rebuilt and cammed with R box and was wondering if the K20 would be an advantage for a few more $s.

Yeah worth putting it in the DC2R chassis. Computer wise- Hondata KPRO plug and play and easy to use.

Cost wise - If your thinking of doing intake/exhaust/headers/ ecu for both engine the K series will only cost extra for mounts/wiring and a few other little items. So really out of pocket a extra grand or 2 yet you have a better platform make more power.
