Tinting in Perth

Yo anyone know some good tinting places in Perth which offer good prices and workmanship? And anyone with any tinting tips regarding CD5 accords? Some people say that taking off the inside door trims to tint produces a better job, but I really am not enthusastic about this, given in previous cars every car I've done this the trim becomes more and more rattlely...

Also, what is the legality regarding tint darkness now?

I got my CRV done at Solace in Morley. They do formula one tint at darkest legal and I found they are willing to discount quite a lot if you give them quotes from other places.

I have also used Sun Pro in Mirribooka on my Jazz and they have these cool mirror type tints. I got one that was just slightly illegal but have never been pulled over for them.

I believe the darkest legal is 35% viewable. If you go a bit darker, I doubt you will get in trouble. Just dont get limo tint or straight Mirror tint.

TKO tinting is pretty good. Trent is the guys name - I can get you his number if you like. He does all sorts of Tribal designs etc etc, mirror, coloured tint all that stuff.

He did my Gfs Civic just in black and a few other cars that we know.

I used to know this guy in Hillarys that did cars for $200 anything you want. But he changed phones and I don't have his number - been meaning to go over and see him for ages.

Can i recommend you get a Black strip of tint on top of the windscreen as well. Get it pretty dark and I guarantee you that you wont need to use your sun visors. I have mine down anout 20-25% of the top of my windscreen - it looks good but also very good protection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Sun pro has done my mates cars, (beema, wrx, and my euro).
We have all got 20%
We all got done for around $25o
We are all happy with the job

AS Bigdongers said, it is indeed 35% is the darkest you can go.

MadEnhancement in Osborne Park can do them about $230 (35% tint). I always go there for my modification needs.

Trent @ TKO has just started selling directly cut to fit tint kits for you guys on the eastern states. He had a stand at final battle, the stuff he can do is amazing, anything you can imagine he can do.

otherwise shop around, visit a few shops, get some prices, suss out thier facilities, warranties etc, then make the call... easy really

tint day ne one?

I need to get my tint replaced, its already dark enough, id say 20% but its old and the dick who had the car before me stuck the 4sale signs up with sticky tape, and the sh!t wont come off without ripping the tint off coz it was on so long i think.
